    HELP Gas Consumption increased to double!

    Jeeze. That's worse MPG than I had with 4" of lift and larger mud terrain tires. I think I got around 12mpg average with stock gearing. I have a heavy foot.

    Roughly around that price 700-800 for parts. I can't say about where you are but here installation can run $1,000 - 2,000. I forget what the cheapest I was quoted was now. Something like 800 an axle I beleive but I could be wrong. At the same time you will want to add lockers since it's open...

    You will want to stick with 245/75R16's. I'd say they are 30's 30-31 or so depending on the tread etc.

    My guess is that maybe it's because of the amount of lift the Daystar gives? It would probably put you at around 5" or more of lift if you combined the OME plus the Daystar spacers. More if top plate and clevis spacers are being added.

    First place I'd look is the fuse.. After that, check to see if there isn't a short either in the switch or in the wiring somewhere.
