    Runs rough at idle

Repeat of above... what brand/type of sensors and plugs were used? My KJ only ran well on either Champion or NGK copper plugs, and obviously BEST on the NGK's. Sensors... would only ever put OE brand in there. The electrical and computer systems on these vehicles are very sensitive to that...

    Teraflex Bumpstops

We call them either grease fittings, zerk fittings (sometimes mis-pronounced as "zert")- and that is because of a company that made them named "Zerk". I've also seen Alamite fittings, from Alamite Industrial Fittings... Basically either grease fittings, or zerk fittings is most common. As...

Smart Phone Dash Holder Tray ?

That's nice, looks durable, except then you can't use it as a gps for those trips where you need navigation. You'd have the voice prompts, if the speaker isn't muffled... but no visual.

Anyone here ? eBay posting KJ

I dunno.. that cut bumper mod looks fine on the grey/black Sport trim... the body color bumper.. not as much. It doesn't match the lines, curves and shape of the rear at all, and that disjointed look makes the whole thing feel "off". Never-mind the fact that it's OBVIOUS that it was cut and...

    I need post-lift info please

That's true, didn't think about that. One thing about measuring to the edge of the flare though, it's rounded.. it's not a sharp cut off, nor is it a hard point that is definite. The wheel flare and most of the KJ is rounded, so there is still going to be a degree of fudge factor involved. I...

    I need post-lift info please

Stock was 19" from center of wheel hub to outer most edge of wheel flare. Given differences in measuring accuracy, some people's figures reported could be off by probably no more than 1/8" or so. So it's close enough. If we could all park on perfectly level ground, measuring form the ground...

Smart Phone Dash Holder Tray ?

Yeah, but then you can't see the screen.... my phone requires that I both swipe up and look at it to unlock. Even if it didn't, how can I use it without then taking it off of this shelf and then doing so, just to put it back on the shelf? I might as well just stick it back in teh cup holder or...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Those the Cooper AT3's? Those moabs must be spaced out a bit, yeah? The tires look a lot larger than what is listed in our sig. Getting ready for new tires on moabs myself, so that's why I ask...

    Led headlights?

It's fairly well known among most that JK headlights are some of the worst outputting headlights on the planet. I had always mocked and thought down on the JK owners who's first mod is often replacement aftermarket LED headlights (which aesthetically to me look like garbage weirdness)... Well...

    Under Hood Metal Polish

Wow... that rad cap looks better than new!

    Vibration

If hard braking resolves it temporarily, it seems to me that something is shifting out of place for sure... but more likely a control arm/bushing issue, or perhaps an axle mount, or brake caliper mounting problem. Has anyone actually gotten under it to inspect it, visually? Put hands on the...

    Cat back exhaust

For sure... in a daily driver like my KJ, I like it very quiet so that I can hear other issues, like suspension or drivetrain noises. If I still had my leaking, loud OE muffler, I never would have heard the peculiar squeak that the KJ made before my power steering pump blew into two pieces...

    Cat back exhaust

Thanks... I like quiet exhausts, but don't mind a little noise if I open the throttle. Nice mandrel bends in that product, from the looks of it. When my Walker rusts out, could be a few years yet, I may need a new tailpipe and when you add it all up, this seems like a good option, if it lasts...

    Cat back exhaust

How does this sound compared to OE? With a smaller diameter, round muffler, I'd expect it to be not only louder, but to have some drone as well.

    Disconnected Plug

This. There is just as much dust and dirt on the connector as there is on the remainder of the plug. Not all vehicles use all plugs and wires in the harness, even among the same model. Varying trim packages, accessories, deleted parts that are no longer installed/in use....

    question about tools

Well.... my main impact is a cordless 18v Ryobi, and it's been great for my needs. Prior to that I used a corded impact from harbor Freight.. was on sale half off, so I only paid $40 for it, but it has worked very well and would have been worth the regular price of $80. So I guess my point...

    Aftermarket radiocar again..

On mine, it was the white/purple stripe wire. Once I did this, it worked flawlessly. You can hear a quick "click" of the relay once the main stereo is powered on as well.

Radio sounds like crap - options

To answer your original question, is it the speakers are the head unit/radio that makes the difference: yes. Both. But the Infinity amp for the front doors is a huge part of that, agreed. Leaving that be, just replacing the radio with an aftermarket HU with more power (make sure to connect...

How to program new key for 05 liberty renegade with 1 key

Just taped? Not worried about it falling off? Tape edge lifting, getting dirt underneath it, peeling some more til it falls off? With the split ring hole in the key, you could just run a rubber coated cable tether to the keyring (key attached, obviously), and tether the whole thing to any...

    Custom Front Bumper

I like that a lot, EXCEPT for the two angled light pods per side.. to me, that looks weird as hell. I would have just done two of the 4-light pods, straight, like the one straight one you already have in there. Those are probably your new turn signals, yeah?
