    I would, but there's holes where the moldings go. If you look at the How To on removing side moldings, you can see holes where the clips enter the body. Otherwise, I'd do exactly that.

    Does anyone know of painted, black side moldings? I drive a LTD and I hate all the cheezy chrome, I know sanding and painting is an option, but I'd rather not go that route. Any help would be appreciated. OH, and I also do not like the plastic ones, so that wouldn't be an option. Thanks

    i honestly never even bothered to screw it into place. It fit so nicely in the little hole under there that I'm not worried about it going anywhere. I don't have any pics but I can take some when I get back on break this weekend if you'd like.

    No, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't. I know that Pioneer makes a wire harness to install that utilizes the steering wheel controls, I think its around $100. Check out crutchfield.com for your specific head unit.
