Seriously, Mercedes Benz require wheel fastener replacement after every second torque sequence. They use those funky stud bolts that screw into the hub, no nuts.- M38 Bob

A few more pics. This is the 1"X1" square steel tube I've installed on the front cross brace to fill the gap between roof and headliner to attach an overhead gun rack Same bracket with more view of cross brace And a group of wires I've added to overhead area at courtesy lights for a switch...- M38 Bob

Front Pinion Seal Replacement
We probably install 50-60 various pinion, axle, trans output, etc seals per year. Never have problem with National, or O'Reilly private label either. Don't recall ever packing back of a seal to keep spring in place.- M38 Bob

Honestly, I have 3 employees here at the tire shop. I asked them to start removing it while I went to the bank and post office. 15 minutes later when I returned it was out undamaged.- M38 Bob

I'd kinda kicked around using spray foam to re-anchor the bent cross brace. This'll never be a long trip style vehicle, so insulation and noise aren't a real priority. Great idea though.- M38 Bob

If anyone's the least bit curious, there's not a whole lot above the headliner. This is the front just behind windshield. There's a plastic "cup" supposed to be glued to the two white globs to mount the console/lights to. It appears to have came unglued long ago This is the...- M38 Bob

If it only showed up after fuel-up, my money's on the new fuel. Just a word of caution to any who don't know; "NEVER FUEL WHILE DELIVERY TANK TRUCK IS UNLOADING!!! All fuel tanks have crud, water, rust, mud, etc in a layer on the bottom of the storage tank. when they're dumping 100 gallon...- M38 Bob

Tire pressure: What's everyone running?
This is an issue that's terribly easy to over think. As long as all four are within a pound or two of each other, anywhere from 28psi to 38psi will have almost identical results.- M38 Bob
