What did you do to your jeep today?

Sold Grab AT2s for a while. Only issue, they have rather delicate sidewalls. They did fine on highway, even gravel roads, but guys who took em out on the farm tended to tear holes in the sidewalls.

Or get the shield only from similar vehicle at salvage. Miracles can be worked with large (semi truck) radiator clamps.

    Powdercoat!

Hell of a nice guy. I intend to. My tonneau has been discontinued, but the cover's still available as a replacement for $100.00. If he offers to help out, fine. If he doesn't, fine also. I should have rolled it up before putting sharp edged materials that close to it.

    Powdercoat!

There's a powder coat facility approx 40 miles from my location that's individually owned (great guy, more on him later). They work for both circle track and drag car builders in the area, as well as "Bad Boy Mowers" a local based lawn mower manufacturer. Mid summer I had them black crinkle...

What did you do to your jeep today?

You should contact Interstate. They'd be interested in knowing that story. After 40 years in the repair business I've never seen an Interstate I'd own. :emotions34: During the ? mid 90s ? GM mounted some batteries under the rear seat of a bunch of sedans. There, protected from engine...

    stripped bolt hole

Going back to original thread size and pitch just seems to satisfy my sense of "rightness" more than an odd ball bolt stuck in at random. Though I did lots of them before my Helicoil phase.

    stripped bolt hole

If you can get access to it, and you're actually referring to a stripped hole (not bolt as your post states), Helicoil inserts are the cats azz. Just follow instructions.
