Fuel cap VS gas cap
I can't see why there would be a physical/mechanical difference, if the filler neck in all models have the same size thread. I believe the CRD caps are green, and the gasoline models are yellow; other than the color difference they should be the same. I would check with Chrysler, just to be sure.- TURBO-DIESEL-FREAK

The Liberty CRD has a great little motor, with potential for lots of torque. It is hampered by a very bad pollution control system, and a very bad engine thermostat that makes the engine run less efficiently, and use more fuel.
