Goodyear Mechanic says need a new engine!
Did Irma flood it??? You need a good CRD mechanic to check it out to be sure it is not some simple thing first. Get it to a good jeep dealer and have them give you a second opinion. Dave- Dave

Rear axle asm
No locking diff or lockers for the KJ came standard for the 06 year. . There was a Trac-Lok limited -slip type diff that was an option on some models but not the 06. The dealer should be able to pull a "build-sheet" to get the proper parts. Something doesn't sound right from what you said...- Dave

Dumb coolant level question
My coolant res says "Cold" and has an arrow pointing up to the rib portion of the res where your "blue mark" is. I guess the upper line is for the "hot" expansion. I being anal outlined the word "cold" and the up-arrow with a magic marker some time ago cause I am old and sometimes I got...- Dave

My key fob keeps coming apart.
6ou said you have 2 key fobs so get a third and program it maybe? You can do this as long as you have 2 working keys with my 05 so not sure about your 06 as the keys/fobs changed a couple of times from 02-07 KJ's. I haven't heard of this happening so yours might be cracked/defective?? Check...- Dave
