I have a Crane cover and its held up pretty well. I've hung up the rear diff on rocks a few times (yeah, yeah, I'm still learning to drive well off-road ....) and no issues. Mine needs to be painted though.
I still had the original rear upper bump stops and installed 2 hockey pucks after a new lift. Well, the first time on the trail shredded them both and I have to install new ones. So just a tip to check the condition of the uppers as well.
In a previous thread I mentioned my rig developed a terrible squeak after installing a lift, new JBA UCA's, and new front and rear LCA's. Tom Mudd mentioned that I should have the bushings re-torqued with tires on the ground as they may have been tightened with wheels in the air. I'm doing that...
Mine got hot on a 3 mile hill ascent on pavement a few days ago. First time I had seen the dash temp gauge go above the middle. But I just got done wheeling it for 6 hours so it was already "warm." Crested the hill and coasted down and watched the temp drop. No issues ever since.
Wheeled it! Scratched the paint, dinged the wheels and got it dirty!

My 2005 Renegade came with roof lights. The day I bought the car I waited until night and drove to a local park. flipped the switch and nothing happened. Went back to the dealer the next day to fix an "electrical issue(?)" with the lights. since then used them maybe 10 times and they are fine...
