2005 was drive by wire. I have the pedal for sale in ebay. I believe 2004 an down wasn't, as my 2002 required the switches, the actuator, and a new clock spring.- CRD-Joe

05 kj keyless entry loses power
Sounds like something in the battery management of your vehicle. Cutting total power off to ensure you don't completely drain the battery before next restart. I had a vehicle that did the same thing. I agree! My rockers are shot, and the 3rd brake light rotted out. Even still I'm a sucker for these Italian diesels in these liberty's. The EGR is the worse, with a timing belt a 2nd weakness. Due to new inspections coming to the states, we can't modify our programs that aren't carb compliant...- CRD-Joe

I believe I have a spare pedal if you need one. Also you really need to do that timing belt, there is no wiggle room on time or mileage. I get that belt done asap. It's actually not bad to do after you line up the 3 pins. I believe I seen that one on clist as well. I'm in NY and always look for...- CRD-Joe
