move the coils around and see if the misfiring follows. If so, it is the coils.
For the P/S hoses, look under the P/S reservoir and pump. It'll be pretty obvious that the pressure sender unit is there.
looks like sponge bob is being used here.
It looks like an upgrade/modification from one PCV system to another that is on the KJs.
the main PCV is now on the block and that is being sucked into the air filter box. There should be a sponge there to filter out the oil.

that's the P/S high pressure sensor. The oil pressure sensor bolts on to the block directly.
I did do mine with the oil filter out as well for ease of access.
I don't remember the size but I think it is 27mm you need a deep socket.
You don't have to buy one, just get it from your LAP's tool...
on the KJ, if you're missing the drain hose, that would cause a leak into the carpet.
I am not familiar with the KK and whether it's a similar situation.
There are three other potential culprit on the KJ line:
1. leaking through the quarter panel. this was my situation as there was a missing...
pull the locking tab out. it the locking tab doesn't come out all the way off the connector.
The SSR you have is the old SSR. there's a TSB to replace it with the beefier version.

75w140 is synthetic.
85w-140 is dino which the resident gurus here recommend but given your colder climate synthetic might be better.
make a diy smoker. baby oil and a cheap soldering iron is what people use.
Since you're in the salty region, perhaps one of the lines in the under carriage is bad or even the fuel tank.
