Do jeeps have a limp mode? When i had my turbo passat if i had to much wheel spin or the computers sensed a problem limp mode would kick in and cut the power dramatically and show warning lights.- NJallDAY

Replacing Cloth Seats With Leather On 2006 Sport
Haha 99% of knowledge is usless at best. I dont know how much or where to get them. But i do know my buddy got a pair of seat covers made of neoprene that are water proof. He just needs to take them off and hose em down when get back from surfing to get the white salt residue off.- NJallDAY

Im thinking of taking it across just above the fog lights in to the where it pops out. Then down to just below the rectangle holes and across there. So besides where the fog lights are im only taking the bottom 2" or so from the bulk of the bumper.- NJallDAY

Im probly guna go at it with a variable speed jig saw turned way down and then smooth it over with a palm sander or just by hand. Did the 02 sport come with factory hooks, If so how do they mount? Damn, i hate having to worry about hitting nj road hazards like deer and raccoon, couldnt imagine hitting a gazelle or rhinos. And bird poop probly isnt a big deal considering you have monkey taking dumps on your freshly washed ride hahaha- NJallDAY

Well to bring this thread to a close. I just installed a set of ome132l's from jba (brent and marlin are awesome btw). I hot knife is a little more high tech then heating up a razor blade :shrug: I was thinking of continuing the cut all the was across the bottom. And how are those hooks fastened?
