Co-workers 2004 overheating
They had a cracked rad and replaced it along with all the relays and thermostat but it is still overheating. Actually the fluid on their overflow is boiling. Any ideas? I asked about the fluid type but it is the right one. Fan is kicking in and they did replace that too. Sent from my...- Xodius

how do you know when you have sanded enough?
Do you have a dremel? I used that for my hood louvers. As for how much to do, a propainter told me all you really need to do is take off the the top layer but I took off a little more to be safe. I did not prime mine afterwards but I was using bed liner. Also, once you are done sanding...- Xodius

...across from the UCA tie in is the header, the part that is silver and looks like a shield, is a heat shield. That spot? Coolant Resevoir Tank
I honestly thought it was the hose failing and not the bottle...but when I put the new one on I noticed one large white crack and several (4-5) smaller cracks or stress points. Why they are there, I have no idea. Perhaps I should just get another stock one since this one has lasted 9 years, lol.- Xodius

Wheel studs from hell.
All the stud issues started after I went to Discount Tire. One tech said he torques all lugs to 100 # and the other said 110 as you can never been too safe. I just use good old fashioned muscle. :throw:- Xodius
