It's definitely a heavy duty carrier. 60"x20" and weighs a good 80 pounds or so. Needed a stout carrier as it'll mainly be used to transport freshly killed deer and packed fishing coolers (beer and fish :gr_grin:)

The carrier doesn't clear the spare but I've got an 8" extension on the way.

It's really a simple, five minute fix. Just replace the transfer case position switch. The threads linked above will tell you everything you need to know.
Installed a Curt Class IV Hitch Receiver that I got for Christmas yesterday. Had to retap the threads but it was smooth sailing after that was done. Looks great, and will go nicely with the Pro Series cargo carrier I just got for my birthday :gr_grin:

Yeah I blame myself for not testing the threads beforehand. In any case I've got 5/6 threads tapped and ready to go. It's just that damn rubber exhaust linkage!
Switched from dino to full synthetic motor oil over Xmas break as well. Due to change it in about 3k then will change every 6k from...
Got a Curt Hitch Receiver for Christmas and the box arrived pretty beat up. Opened it up, and the hitch was so badly bent that the bolt holes were off by a good inch or two. Had it exchanged for a new one which arrived a few days later.
Had my brother come over the other day to help get it...
