    High power reverse lights

I just installed a set of Cree 5watt LED reverse lights and wow! :worthy: If anyone likes to see behind them in the dark I recommend these. 3156 3056 3157 3057 3457 4157 T20 5W CREE LED Reverse Wedge Bulbs - Retro-Solutions Store They are roughly $40 for a pair with $2-$3 shipping but...

    Headlight Bulbs Poll

Silverstar Ultras. Don't bother with the Silver star Zxe's. They are a blue bulb with less light ouput while costing more. Here's a tip, if you order Silverstar ultras online at advanceautoparts.com with a coupon code(google it) you can get them for $30.

    New Tires

Seconded if you want a great tire at a decent price. If price is no object, get some Duratracs.

    What size?

As far as gears go, you are limited to 4.10 in the front. Unless you go with the JBA steel front differential. As long as you plan on regearing, driving around with 265/75/16 tires shouldn't be too terrible. Many people have driven around longer than that before they regeared. Just expect...

Cool, thanks. Any brand recommendations for dino oil? I have Coastal gear oil in it now...

Something to Check On Front Brakes

Mine have been gone for over 10,000 miles. Pads are wearing nice and even. Throw them away and use extra grease. Don't worry about them!

    What gear oils?

What's your opinion on synthetic blend? Only reason I am asking is for us that have colder temperatures in the winter. This past winter I nearly stopped when shifting between 1st and 2nd gear at slow speeds due to thick fluid. Once heated up it wasn't as bad. Currently I am running 85w-140...

    2002/2003 Hypertech tuner support

Unfortunately I still have the wheel liners and washer bottle. Although I was impressed that I could look straight down inside the box and see the ground. It almost seems less restrictive than the stock setup, at least for fresh air IMO.

    2002/2003 Hypertech tuner support

I ended up with the AFE stage 2 intake. I believe that is the one you have. I'll keep it on for a bit to see if mileage changes any. If it gets worse, I'll put the stock intake back on. Like I said before, this didn't cost me anything so I figured it be worth trying it out.

Yep, had it over the roof a couple times hitting some nice puddles. :happy107:

    2002/2003 Hypertech tuner support

I'm not too concerned about that, it's protected pretty good. I think I would have issues with my jeep floating away before I soak the intake.

    2002/2003 Hypertech tuner support

Yep, that is possible. Although 99% of my driving is on the road. If I ever do go wheeling, I'll just switch the stock box back in.

    2002/2003 Hypertech tuner support

I don't doubt it. I was running an amsoil filter with stock box also before I switched. Although I didn't have the 3 inch hose running into like you do. I haven't really had a chance to check gas mileage since I installed it, although if it's worse, I will be going back to the stock box. Way...

    2002/2003 Hypertech tuner support

I've been looking for while for a deal on gears. Although I might disagree on the intake. Sure it is a hot air intake, although it does provide better throttle response with better top end in my opinion. Not much difference down low other than not requiring as much gas to get...

    2002/2003 Hypertech tuner support

While that helps some(just recently put on a CAI), the most gain is from removing torque management along with a few other adjustments. Take a look at their dyno chart for the 3.7 engine. It gets rid of the dead zone after 4,000 rpms, a dead zone that I notice a lot. My explorer pulled hard up...

    2002/2003 Hypertech tuner support

Just trying to get some power back. Compared to my Explorer with the 4.0 this 3.7 is a dog. Also to get around the adaptive learning of the stock ecm. I know you can go with B&G tuning, but this is a lot cheaper plus with the ability to flash back to stock if needed. Read up on the WK guys on...

Please disregard if you seen this on lost or jeepforum. For any who are interested in hypertech tuner support for 2002/2003 Liberty models. I have been advised by Hypertech customer support that if there is enough product requests for the 2002/03 model years, they will consider...

    Plans for my 07...

I know on the earlier years (02-04?) you can do a pinion reset to set the speedometer. I'm not sure it would work on a 2007 though. I had it done on mine at the dealership, it only cost $35.

    Plans for my 07...

Might want to check out that hypertech programmer again. I just checked it for your year and it says nothing about being able to adjust tire size. From their website: Adjustable Features •Top Speed Limiter 25 - 75 MPH in 5 MPH increments, 81 to 255 MPH to match speed rated tires •Rev...
