ABS/Traction Control disables on low traction surfaces

So it goes into fault when it's asked to function. JeepJeepster has some good advice, I'd check the ground cable very carefully, maybe even run a temporary lead direct to the battery and test it. I don't think the ABS is coded, it certainly isn't on mine but mine is quite a bit older.

    oil leak

Have you checked the engine hasn't been over filled with oil or oil spilled and running down the engine after the oil change? A leak that only happens after the oil has been changed is very odd. Clean the engine as much as possible, then start it up, (keep clear of the fan and belts!) Get a...

    Belt tensioner >> stripped@@*.* << mounting bracket

I put this one on, it's a fraction narrower than the original but that's not an issue.

    Rear sway bar

I would think that you would have to declare it the same as any other modifications done to the car.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Well at the moment I'm impressed, I'll see how it looks in a couple of weeks.

What did you do to your jeep today?

I've tried similar things before but I get fed up with having to do it every year, if that lasts 2 years then it's better than most. I'm hoping 2k will be a bit more permanent + I have a parts Jeep if it all goes horribly wrong, reading online 2k is either the best thing ever or the worst...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Last day before I go back to work, sun is shining and almost no wind. Thought I'd tackle the lights, the plastic is badly burnt so they are even worse than normal. I'm sanding them down and putting 2k clear on to see if that's any better, high level brake light is all foggy too so it's getting...

    3 inch downpipe for crd

I doubt it will make much difference without other modifications, the 2" restriction at the muffler is supposed to be worth removing but you have already done that, did you notice much difference when you removed it? The ECU is setup to control boost and cap maximum power to prevent it from...

    Heavy duty rear coils

Sounds like way more weight than the tow hitch should have, a trailer would be safer and more legal option, especially with worn old springs and a spacer lift.

    Rear bump stops

The usual trick is bolting hockey pucks to the axle seat, 1" each stack up as required

    225/75R16 replace with 225/65R17?

Are they off a compass or patriot? The spigot on a KJ is bigger than the hole in the centre of the alloy so will need machining out to fit.

Why I don't use cheap spark plugs

Wonder if they were ebay knockoffs? I've always thought of those 3 brands as good quality.

Where are you from? If you are in Europe then H&R springs in Germany are good. Have to wait until America wakes up in a few hours to get a local answer.
