Tom, it is not so much attitude as much as trying to avoid verbal attack's. It's a trend I see developing with some members jumping on other members who (when asked an opinion or make a simple comment regarding a manufacturers product or whatever) get jumped on like they defiled the Virgin...- KJmurf

The only issue I can see with the Rotopax on the spare tire mount is the added weight to the swing gate hinges. 1 gallon of gas weighs approximately 6 pounds, so putting a couple of their 2 gallon fuel packs on (with brackets and such) could get you up to around 30 lbs. New tires after lift
I am running the 245/70/17 Wrangler DuraTrac's and they are awesome. Need to get my lift soon though, because they are kind of stuffed in there. I am having no issues with power loss or drop in gas mileage (plus they kick a$$ in the snow)...and a funny side-note; they cured my "pulling"...- KJmurf

LED Tails - Source?
I got two-3157 (reverse) 7.5watt CREE bulbs (about 200 lumen each) on eBay for $9.99+free shipping. It's like having 2 flashlights sticking out the rear of my KJ. Buddy of mine has a Jumping Jack that he might sell me next summer. One of the benefits of the Jumping Jack is that the lug pattern is the same as the KJ (5x4.5). If you change to more aggressive tire, you could use the trailer tires as spares for the KJ. Of course your trailer could be...- KJmurf

Thank you, but John3seventeen is correct...you have to visualize my lighter gear i.e. camp boxes, etc., in front of the gas cans. Also, I mounted them sideways to facilitate ease of putting full jerry cans in the mounts (that is why the backs are taller than the front). I am also lucky to find...- KJmurf

First of all, thank you. Second, my understanding from previous posts is: Stock rails max out at 150-200lbs-driving load I figure my 1.5"x.120" rails could handle 600lbs, but I use that as the max "static" load (in case you wanted to mount a roof-top tent). The basket is rated at...- KJmurf

Finished, painted, and mounted my home built roof rails, roof basket, and jerry can mounts. Roof rails shown are Phase 1. Phase 2 is a second set of lateral rails that come from the front (near the windshield), curve back to intersect the rear rails about half way up (sort of an Xterra look)...- KJmurf
