Hopefully still available I hope !! Luckily I replaced my upper rad hose before it spewed everywhere. ;) Only use Mopar...

    Dyno Test

How much $ does a Dyno test cost? Generally only large horsepower engines are Dyno tested & tuned. I did find this thread KJ thread though. https://www.jeepkj.com/threads/kj-dyno-tuning.63078/

    Power Steering Fluid

Are you having to replace the whole rack & pinion, pump, return pressure lines etc? Probably ATF+4 would be the best option. After 2003 ATF+4 was used in the KJ's as the standard.

    Front impact sensor

What scanner are you using? 2002 is a very early model. What OBD2 codes are you getting? The dealer may still have a "star scan" scanner kicking around. Other than the star scan, the next Best scanner to use is a Snap On Modis Ultra.

Thermostat housing leak suggestions on new thermostat, or temp rating

Drain & Inspect housing first. Probably best to replace the lower rad hose & use the correct Mopar thermostat, which has the built in gasket.

    Speedometer Not Working

The 2 wires should then be fully inspected. Keep in mind wires are in between the split loom tubing. Are there any OBD2 codes present?

    Speedometer Not Working

Just above the rear differential, is where the speed sensor is located. The sensor may need replacement. It has a 2 wire connection, with wire loom tubing. A known issue and inspection for chaffed wiring may be present as well.

Here's An Odd One...Fuel Leak at Schrader Valve?

Mine has a black protective screw on plastic cap on passenger side of fuel rail, used a flashlight to better see inside. I wonder if you tried screwing in a fuel pressure tester may help seal it again? Take the fuel pressure readings while there. Not running for 10 minutes, Vehicle running etc...

2006 Jeep Liberty (42RLE) 3.7V (gasoline): Reverse not working

The Jeep should be driven for 15 minutes continuously & then check the level on the dipstick, on level ground. Add some if it appears dry. I'm confused when you mentioned goes into a parking mode whenever you put it on Neutral, which makes no sense. What hapens when you place it into neutral? It...

2006 Jeep Liberty (42RLE) 3.7V (gasoline): Reverse not working

Welcome to the forums. I would recommend that you find a transmission shop that can read the stored or pending codes. A Snap On Modis Ultra scanner is best. Photo 2 broken piece eek. There is a lot of filings shown as well. Do you have a transmission shop close to you?

Liberty door locks randomly keep unlocking

Did you mean a 2003 KJ Liberty? Even though this was many years ago, there was a known issue at dealer where a combo /quick firmware flash was performed to solve issues in locks. The outcome was, when Jeep placed in reverse, you would hear the rear gate lock activate.

Engine appears to be over heating

Dont use any flushing type products. Flush with distilled water or DE-mineralized. Mopar Hoat Coolant only or Zerex GO5 can be purchased as pre-mixed at 50 percent which is less expensive. Green coolant = eek. Drop the lower rad hose to drain it. Flush out the reservoir too. if it needs new rad...
