Best oil for 2.5 CRD
I'm using Valvoline Maxlife 5w40 (5w40 is in manual recommended too) for five years - very good oil for cars above 100 000km especially for wintertime - has very good poor point (ap.-38C)- r0bert38

hard to start
Have You changed all glow plugs ? Maybe is something wrong with fuel filter or with heater under the filter or with fuel injection pump or there is air in fuel circuit (system) ... Many causes could be ....:(- r0bert38

4x2 and 4x4 Full Time (Selec-Trac)
ad. 1 Yes there is: about 1l per 100km, maybe more in wintertime but max 2l per 100km ad.2 In Poland my friends switch on FT mode in fall and switch it off in spring :). - recently I've swapped TC (for 242 -Select Trac) especially for driving in wintertime.... This is the best solution for...- r0bert38

after swap 242 TF full time indicator doesn't work
TC Swap took a place one month ago... I haven't noticed any problems with driveability when I use (almost every day ) full time mode .... with NV3500 trans .... - The best is that I can drive on slippery roads and highways :). I don't understand why Chrysler didn't install TC 242 with manual... -
