Ok. Thank you. she's going to have to go on youtube and do some research. Looks like the front clip comes out I'm not sure how that top bar comes out but She'll figured it out, I'll post if I have any more questions. this forum is really great help thank you again.
Ok folks, now it's my daughter's 05 Jeep Liberty. It is leaking antifreeze where the condenser bolts on to the radiator. Right around the screw upper right hand side. My question is could it be leaking at the screw or is it going to get torn apart and we're going to see a cracked radiator behind it.
Thank you for all the help. 6 mos. later it was determined it was the waterpump. Also the mechanic that told me to use the Blue Devil, he did replace the thermostat but he broke the casing that holds the thermostat in and has it held on with a C-clamp, and now thats something that I have to get...
So if there's no white smoke coming out of the exhaust, the oil is not milky looking or anything, no visible leaks, doesn't appear to be boiling over and the coolant level has stayed the same. Will the obd test and pressure test tell me if the head gasket is bad? How else will I know, not...
Ok. I'm going to ask that instead of bringing the Blue Devil to pour in my coolant, he bring an obd2. Is there any other diagnostic things that can be done in my driveway? He said he bled the air after the tstat.
Thank you all. I am a woman and not a mechanic, and I have cried all day. I will check tomorrow everything I can, and research where to get these diagnostic things done. I'm not driving it. But will check in tomorrow.
The time is wrong on mine, it is 1:06 AM, not 6 AM
Tstat not in backwards, will check tomorrow if water pump has been replaced ever. Regular antifreeze in it, levels look fine. Not boiling over. Will check a few things tomorrow.
