    Weird horn issue...

That was what I was kinda hoping for, but I shot the wires from the steering wheel to the horn relay and it was open, no short there.

    Weird horn issue...

So I discovered my horn doesn't work on my 2002 Jeep Liberty Limited; when I press the steering wheel or when I set the alarm. I checked the fuse and it's blown, great, easy fix right? No, the fuse didn't fix it. I find the Liberty Service manual on this site so I follow the troubleshooting...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Trouble shot a P0442 Evaporative Emission Small Leak code. Found and replaced two cracked emission vacuum rubber lines just under the driver's side frame. Most of the lines under and along the frame are metal but at this location there are two rubber hoses connecting metal lines about 4" long...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Installed new ceramic brakes and rotors. I was so tires of the last pads Jeep installed, they created so much dust the wheels would only last clean a week. They were so easy to replace. $153 total for parts at Napa.

I just lock my doors/enable alarm by locking the door on the way out with the door switch. That way it doesn't beep.

    help identifying a hose

Mine looks the same... same leak, has been that way for about 5 years and the A/C still works like a charm. During a recent service visit I asked about getting it replaced and they wanted $800 to get it done... no thanks, I'll leave it as is.

Need advice on Replacing Airbags after a crash

Thanks. Last time I removed the center console I didn't really look forward of the shift selector. I'll have to try again. I think it's a coincidence that it worked before and suddenly it didn't after they were in there for the recall.

    Just My Jeep

Thanks. It almost has 95k miles on it and has held up really well. Besides the front ball joint recalls I've replaced several rear window regulators, a cracked radiator, rear gate latch, batteries, and tires. It's garaged when not in use and I wax it all the time so the paint still looks great.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Changed the rear gate latch. I was intermittent but mostly not working. Got it at AutoPartsMopar for $207 including shipping. It was really easy to replace, three bolts, connector, and a little arm going to window release. Works like a champ and the new part was made in Canada, not China.

Need advice on Replacing Airbags after a crash

Where is the ACM located? Reason I ask is mine was replaced for the airbag recall and now my OD button on the shift selector doesn't work. I'm thinking they left something disconnected or broke a wire in the process... I looked under the center console and don't see anything...
