Thank you! That info was the most concise and applicable to my situation. WAter never crossed my mind, BUT, who knows what with happen on a day trip or just in general. XJ Drivers are not known for a lot of forethought and restraint. That's why we have so much fun! Thanks again...

I wish to use the infinity speakers with attached amps in an '98 XJ. They worked great last time I used them in my KJ. So the question is do I use as much of the KJ harness as needed to power and send the audio the speakers? It may be easier to make my own harness to fit whatever radio I...

A reminder, I plan on using these in my '98 XJ. Stock harness, I assume that's why I asked about the wiring. The XJ came with an aftermarket switch panel in place of the radio. Gonna fix that! I'm tired of chasing my phone and Bluetooth speaker around the cabin. Especially off road.

Thanks for the info. Last I drove the car the speakers sounded great. Blasting to CCR & The Stones. Reminded me of the stuff the kids have now. Things may have changed since it went to storage. I'll take a door panel off an have a look see. RE: Flaming? glad that went by the wayside. I...

Thanks guys. Do I need to run heavy gauge speaker wire considering the amps are on the back? Or is there a separate power wire. I've yet to see one up close. I'm not stupid, I'm teachable, I don't think it's a bad thing to admit that I don't know. So please don't Flame me! Thanks.

I'm junking a 2002 Limited with the infinity speakers. Id like to save them for my '98 XJ. What can I do to make this work? The speakers sounded great last I heard them before storage. Is there a way how to make them work independently? Pretty sure there's a gremlin in the wiring causing...

    Free ninety nine.

Same, I live on less than $900 per month. But my house and land is paid for and my '02 Libby is a great winter vehicle, especially on 31" A/T tires. I've got to make every dollar count, myself. No freeloading at my place. I'm grateful to live in a place where I can live on just the Social...

    Tail light guards?

I got some gray colored plastic taillight guards on my 02 KJ. Backed straight up into a maple tree. No damage to my tail light but the guard got knocked off is all. Went to the parts store and bought a small roll of foam tape to reattach it. No prob. Saved me a tail lig.

Check the coolant level. I have had the same problem with my 2002 3.7 in Maine. My reservoir was way low. Refilled it and heating fine inside. Still haven't tracked down the leak yet, but I'm working on it.

Let me say hi folks, I'm Paddlerdan.

Are the spacer lifts any good? You know what I mean, the ones sold on eBay. Daystar I think. I'm looking for more flex, to keep contact with the ground, especially when I don't have any lockers. I have new stock Moog springs in front. Stock OEM springs in the back. But they aren't sagging, yet...

Stock lift and stock height. PS the tires are 8 ply, lots of gravel road here in northern Maine. Rock cuts are a pain.

Let me say hi folks, I'm Paddlerdan.

I'm the owner of a 02 KJ. 217000 miles, 3.7, stock lift, but just put some Ironman A-Ts 275-75/16. Always had a Jeep of some kind. First one was a 53 Willys Jeepster, 401 Buick, Muncie 4 speed, etc. Then a CJ- 5, small block chevy and turbo 400, bla bla bla. You get the idea. Reason I joined the...
