Pretty bad oil leak
Interesting, I was going to suggest look at the filter. I had mine back out on me a bit a couple of months ago. Noticed a few drops of oil on the garage floor one morning when I left. Checked it when I got home that night and was doing an oil change anyways...went to take the old filter off...- 2003KJ

Haven't changed the oil in 9 months??? I hope you're running a good synthetic oil! Make sure you check the oil level before you start it up after degreasing everything!- 2003KJ

Front Shock Removal
Yeah the coils are sagging a good bit...which surprises me...the suspension isn't really that old. Don't have the cash at the moment for new coils, so looks like it's just shocks for the time being. And figures it would get cold this weekend....should of done it this past weekend when it was...- 2003KJ

more bad news
Yikes....for $175 I would have strapped it to another vehicle and pulled it 2 miles down the road, and then had the tow truck come get it. Hope you get it fixed.- 2003KJ

Oil Light comes on at Idle but not above 1000rpm's
Switching from conventional to synthetic will not affect the pressure at all, provided you stay with the same weight. If you go from say a 10W-30 to a 5W-30 you MIGHT notice about a 1psi difference in hot pressure after a long highway run. For the most part though, that minor of a change...- 2003KJ

Coolant leaking, heavy steering, smoke all over the place
Water pumps can and do go bad. About the only other thing I can think of to cause it to spray coolant possibly is the radiator, but my money's on the water pump. Oil Leak.. trouble?
Yup, just the channel to try and catch the oil from the filter when you take it off. Double check that the filter is tight though, I had mine work loose a couple of months ago and started leaking a good amount of oil. When I checked the filter, I could spin it by hand easily.- 2003KJ
