    That annoying warning bell/chime

Do you any info on how to carry out this smoke test? Do I just get a vaping thing and blow smoke into whatever? :)

    That annoying warning bell/chime

Thanks DadOSix, Six - really? Busy guy! Yes, I know about the smoke test, but I also understand this could be a very difficult problem to find. Are you sure you don't have a more clandestine solution? Thanks, Russ

    gas cap message

I have the same problem in an 07 Liberty. The problem seems so insignificant. I have my own solution - disconnect the damn dinger. How do I do that? I'll take full responsibility. Thanks.

    That annoying warning bell/chime

Remove front diff without removing control arms?

I am a bit of a newbie with 4WD, but I have a question about your changing the front diff. Are you talking about the drive ratio being 4.10/1? If you change the front diff ratio, are you not going to have to change the rear diff ratio as well, otherwise the front and rear wheels will want to...

Remove front diff without removing control arms?

Thanks Guys. I had a look at it today and you were right. The bolts were accessible through the two holes. The bolts I saw underneath the lower control arms are for the brackets that support the front axle assembly.

Remove front diff without removing control arms?

I have a 2007 Jeep Liberty and wish to inspect (bad noises) the front differential. The first obstacle I can see is the front skid plate. The front 2 bolts are hidden behind the lower control arms. Is there any way to get these bolts out without removing the lower control arms?
