Are my halfshafts bad?
I pulled halfshafts and front DS in April because i thought halfshafts were bad. Recently brought all three to a driveshaft specialist who said the fron CV on the driveshaft was bad so he welded on a U-joint in its place. Now im wondering if the halfshafts were ever bad at all. Front Axle housing Broke....
Yea Ive been running since early April with no front DS or axles. I actually just got the DS repaired (U-Joint welded on front end) and looking at the halfshafts now to see if they are bad. No issues at all with doing this. 1. Drain the diff 2. Seal off the two ends. I used butter...- jdumont

Herculiner is absolutely NOT garbage. I have my whole lower half all the way around and front grille done and its perfect. You MUST buy/use the UV protect bottle from them or it will fade and start to thin out after a year or so. Mine has been on for three years or so and still looks brand...- jdumont
