02 liberty limited transmission P0740

Hunting the how to's on here.
Is there a transmission fluid filter change around here?
Recently felt a shutter that went a way after stopping and pulled a code P0740 using torque pro app.
After a little research I'm hoping it's just the selinoid and nothing else.
Never had fluid and filter changed and always checking fluid level to see where it's at. No leaks.
How do I identify the ****** type and is the selinoid removable from the bottom once the pan is pulled?
Thx for any advice

How many miles on the transmission?
ATF+4 fluid only to be used.
Pan drop & new filter may just do the trick, but have a good look inside the pan for any particulate matter.

A couple years ago I was having what seemed liked crazy transmission problems. Stuttering, dropping gear, loosing fluid. It was all caused by a bad throttle position sensor. Just something easy to keep in mind.

a bad throttle position sensor was causing you to loose (leak?) fluid?

TCC malfunction. Just had this happen on my RFE equipped Ram. It's either one of two things, it's either the torque converter clutch itself or the solenoid. If it clears and comes back immediately it's more likely the solenoid, if it takes a until it tries to engage the TCC then most likely the TC clutch itself. Unfortunately the only real way to tell is to change one and see if it does the trick. If not, then change the other lol. I'll let ya know what mine was in the next few days.
