Hi I found out something interesting today. My Jeep Liberty was made in July of 2002 but has things that we’re offerd in 2003. It has the 45rfe ****** instead of the 42rle ******. Has all wheel disc brakes, cup holders inside, and doesn’t have the push pad that was offerd in 02. Thinking it was just one that was left over from 2002 and Jeep must of put things on it of off a 03 Jeep. It’s even registers as a 03.

Push Pad, the small plastic push pad on the rear glass. So you're not putting finger/ hand prints on the rear glass when you close it

My 2007 has some features only found on the KKs (2008-2012). I have to be very careful with buying some parts because of that. For instance, I have the KK PCV valve setup. Got the wrong one when I ordered the 2007 version.

Does your 07 have the open cooling system (cap on radiator, reservoir is just a plastic cap)? I know some did and some still had the closed system (only the real cap on the reservoir, nothing on the radiator).

July of 02 would be an 03. Mine is an 05 and it was made 7/22/04.

My Export manual 2.5 CRD Sport arrived in South Africa on the 11th May 2002.
No push pad, no rear disks and no ABS but hopefully still at the higher height before jeep was forced to drop it by a few millimeters...I have not measured the height. No sensor on passenger seat to sense for occupant but with two front airbags and curtain airbags.

Also some nice features on the Export models such as adjustable height headlamps and retractable rearview mirrors and SKIS alarm system and remote key fob locking as standard.

The rear disks and ABS came out a few months later as standard and I would have appreciated getting these two features from a safety point of view but still love my Jeep to bits. I had the factory fitted re-movable tow bar fitted, roof racks, and front and rear Mopar rubber mud flaps fitted before collecting the Jeep.

Open cooling system.

Lucky, technically you don't really need to bleed those. That's how my XJ is and all I do is fill 'er up and drive it, then top off. Not like the KJ where you have idle it for 10 minutes or so.

I would love to have a CRD with the manual transmission, I'm not a fan of the rear disk brakes on my 04 and would prefer the rear drums..
