06 liberty hard shift from 2/3 gear

I have an 04 with 92k and it shifts pretty clunky like going from 1-2, ive been told some automatic transmissions are like this though so i didn't put much care into it.

I was thinking though...
If I ever did decide to take it in and found out there was a problem, would this be a good opportunity to have it re-geared to 4.10, instead of paying to bring it back to normal?

NO. 4.10 gearing refers to axle gearing, not transmission gearing.
