yeha weekends are gonna be CROWDED ( went w/ some LOST guys from MASS a few years ago...Pete, Orlando!) and boy was it bad, but, it was fun too. c'mon hyde, let the upstate folk experience it...LoL

Jeep will unveil the new Jeep Liberty for the first time at the New York auto show next week, and from all appearances the 2008 Liberty is little more than a Dodge Nitro redecorated with traditional Jeep styling details. Most noticeable is the seven vertical bar grille layout that replaces the Dodge pattern of crosshairs seen on the Nitro. New style wheels and a smaller hood outlet are other signs of the Jeep influence. At the rear, the changes are just as striking, with new taillights and the absence of the door-mounted spare tire. This prototype was spotted while undergoing cold weather testing near a Jeep engineering compound in Detroit. —Jim Dunne

And I've seen it out of camo.... LAST SPRING.

The Commander's headlights are also round inside a squarelike enclosure.

They look round enough, but still, they are not round round.. Square enclosure makes it boxy.

square eyes - round eyes - it's still a Jeep. I don't descriminate.

We're going 4/8, the only day we can make it.

It's a haul from here and I don't care. Been there before many times - just not for the car show, so I'm lookin forward to it. We're leaving around 6 am and should be there around 10:00 or so.

If any of you are going that day you can get me on my cell (see post in Northeast section).

I will look forward to meeting anyone that is there that day.

Does anyone know what's the difference between the public sneak preview and the other days? It says we can go on Friday on the preview, or go on Saturday "Show Floor Opens".. I was thinking of going on friday (workday) to beat the crowd, but if I will miss some of the stuff, I would wait until next week-day, possibly monday or tuesday..

If you are going there just for the jeeps exclusively, DO NOT BUY TICKETS, all jeep exhibits including CAMP JEEP is outside.

There is nothing much to see inside, either.. heheheh

sunday.. Today my ass got beat up, walked like 6 hours.. you have no idea, I got out at 5 no cabs would pick us up, i had to walk to broadway to 7 train Ahhhhhh crazy
