Can not imagine I'm answering this twice in one week, ;(
seems no one can think someone actually knows the numbers of OMEs so they have to look up and then find wrong answers
so,.......The spring ratings listed are WRONG

stock is 310, thousands have known this since KJs came out
light duty 925s are 350, medium is 375, heavy is 400 and for CRD or gassers with aftermarket bumpers etc is 500
the shock numbers I gave will work on 926/947 combo, run that set up on my 05

YES you need bumpstops on ALL lifts
an inch of lift-an inch of bumpstop
Just checked, The last catalog I got last year has all the right numbers and even listed the 132Ls for rear shocks for over 2.5 inches
just forget BDS since they cost more anyways for just the springs , unless you like spending more money LOL ;)

That's what ARB lists the springs at - I talked to a live technical specialist at ARB, I didn't make this up or find it on the interwebs. Since ARB makes the OME springs, I trust their information and that's why I posted it on this forum. What might not be right is the OEM spring rates they list because I'm guessing the rates changed from early 02 and beyond.

At any rate, the Mediums are soft and match the rear Lights. Which is consistent with how ARB lists the medium - same rate as Light but longer spring.

Spring rates DID NOT change 02 on,

You do know that the reps are just paid peons who sit and look at a computer, right ?
They used to have some great people there, anymore, well,...............

Really. So what’s the difference between prelowered and lowered kjs? The springs, like you’ve said on this forum many times before. Everything else is the same.

And yes I’m acutely aware that the rep was reading info from a computer screen. I don’t trust that they have intimate engineering knowledge of jeeps but I do trust that they can read and verbally communicate information correctly to another human being. Therefore the info that arb states for THEIR product is correct and is useful for people on this forum looking for facts, not opinions.

OK so back up after, APRIL 12, 2002 springs were somewhat different, sitting the KJ 3/4 of an inch lower in front
But what 99% of the owners work on are built after that
so now what are you smart remarks DOING.......10to20
Posts like yours make me want to quit helping anyone on the forums

Wish me luck! Just placed my order for

926/947 OEM coils

Bilstein front shocks 24 -139168
rear- 33-185859

Looking for a Canadian Distributor for the Teraflex/Daystar bumpstops. I would pay more for shipping/duties/exchange than the actual product ordering from the US.

Really appreciate all of the guidance tommudd... after more reading I am going to take the advice of having a shop do the install!!
Did you ever find a place to buy the extended bumpstops in Canada? Every Canadian company I've contacted in the Teraflex distributor listing says the part is discontinued and not even in the system. Teraflex won't answer or return my calls.
