2003 Liberty 2WD Loud Front End Bang

The noise he is referring to if its the same as I experienced is hard to describe. It's not really a bang. The noise starts as soon as the tire goes into the pothole, not when it bottoms out.

Are any of your control arm bolts loose?

No. Mine is fixed now. Changing the arms stopped the noise.

The dealer is taking care of it next Tuesday. That is the soonest I can get up there to have them replace the upper and lower control arms along with the upper and lower ball joints. I will report back for sure once I get the work done.

The dealer replaced the upper control arms/ball joints per the recall and for good measure, the lowers were also done. The noise is gone and the Liberty rides perfectly again.
