Bought a condo and I've been busy making it happen. The kit is still in the back seat waiting to happen. Should be ready to install in a week or two...

Excited about the condo. It was a rental so a lot of the workmanship done of the place is substandard. For example, some "workman" used cardboard in the bathroom to make a baseboard out of. Stuck it in with a nail, painted it and called it quits. I was surprised to find this gift to say the least.

Anyway, I'm cleaning up after them, retexturing the walls, replacing all of the base boards, new mirror, new light, new shower door, etc...It's going to be great to be out of on my own again.

I'll get back to the lift. Now I've got all the parts, a shop lined up to build the struts, an alignment and tire shop that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and almost all the tools I need. I can't believe a "mechanics" socket set doesn't come with all the sockets you need to be a mechanic...short a 21mm...

Looking forward to it but I am busy...

Condo project is finished and moved into which led into my hernia surgery which led me into looking for a new job. Got my old job back at the offroad shop I used to work at. Should have the lift on in a month. I can't wait.

Just a quick update: Hernia surgery went well and I've started work at the Offroad Shop again marketing and attending to the web. Lift was supposed to go on this week, but we got slammed and the boss went out of town again. Maybe this next week I'll be able to put some pictures together of it lifted.

I spent a few days on youtube listening to different mufflers on the Liberty. I decided on a Flowmaster Super 44 and went and got one put on yesterday after work. I love it. My little baby sounds like a nasty Jeep. There is no other word for it. Go to youtube and listen for yourselves. It's a lot of fun. I'm so focused on my rpm and gear now. Driving is almost like driving a musical instrument. I really love it.

It's settled. The lift goes on Friday. The boss is going to help me too, besides letting me use his tools and a lift. I can't wait. I've had those parts in the garage for months now.

In a perfect world, I would have stopped in at jeepinbyal in Pennsylvania on my trip back from Jersey and had the lift installed but I think it's going to be a lot of fun to turn a wrench again and maybe get some street cred with the technicians I'm working with.

I had a Flowmaster for a while, got tired of all the drone at cruising speed ,
Loved it at first but,...........

Yeah, it has a drone but from what I understand all V6's are going to do that. I like the sound it makes idling more that the sounds I get driving. MBRP has a nice one too.

What's done is done. Money's spent. Time to live with the results.

I spent a good amount of time on youtube auditioning exhaust sounds on Liberty's. I like it still but...exactly.

After a couple of days and a few hundred more miles on the odometer, I think, and everyone whose ridden in it has said, the ride is better.

Next up some window tint and a black grille. I do need a spare too...lol. I forget the one hanging up is too small.

So in the course of a couple of weeks, I've transformed my KJ. I still love the exhaust. I love the lift and the cheap tires I bought aren't all that bad. I hope DetourUSA isn't out of business. Their website is down. I was hoping to get the winch base from them...
