I just bought a 2005 Jeep Liberty Sport for my daughter and just found out that the front cigarette lighter does not work. I checked the 20amp fuse in the front with one of those fuse testers the kit cam with and it went green along with others that I pulled just to verify.

Anyone know of anything else I can do that I am missing?

Thanks in advance

My 2007 Also does not work. I was told they are poorly made and need replaced..Seen them on Advanced Auto for like 10$ with a tool to remove it.
Good luck..

First I have heard they are poorly made , have logged over 250,000 miles in KJs , 03-04 and 05 and no issues, first I have heard of it.
Someone may have cut into or messed with the lighter on allenea's at one point in time
Check all wiring and ground

Check the connection behind it, there is a small Phillips screw next to the cigarette lighter and then just pull the entire bezel. Its an easy connection to forget if you are changing your radio.

The 20 amp yellow fuse is #3 position- 1st one on 3rd row down, left side. Ya interior panel.
I check my fuses with a continuity test- VOM, they are often hard to see if blown.
I often blow the fuse just plugging stuff in, IDK why the socket is so picky.
May want to change the socket & definitely re-check that #3 fuse.
