2011 stock radio issue

Hi I have a 2011 70th anniversary edition which i just got Tuesday, the radio is giving me issues with the FM part I get a very weak signal but mostly fuzzy, cd player works, I don't have anything with an aux to test that. I did order a cord for my phone that's a USB c to aux not even sure if that's a real thing we shall see lol, as far as I can tell the sadilite radio thing works I get the little test station in clear, it doesn't have the phone connecting part I tried it just says not available. Sorry if I'm giving completely useless info I've never posted on a thread before I guess what my question is should I try buying a new antenna for the top or am I just SOL

Check the connections before you buy anything, might just be a loose plug.

I'll look up a video on how to do that first time I've had to try to work on my own cars, I ordered a cheap antenna on Amazon, thank you for the advice

Keep in mind that KKs have an issue with FM on the stock radio. Mine just stays silent. CD, SAT, and AUX still work.

That's what I'm hearing, I got an aux cord that works with my phone, bad thing is I live out in the hills of WV so service is kinda spotty, so downloaded music it is. Now it's throwing a stupid check engine light for a few things one being satellite region mismatch and something for the mirror. This is my first time having to work on a car myself so learning all this is making my brain hurt lol
