255 60 17

Hi All

I know majority of people are off roading types, but my KJ rarely sees this type of use. I love my Liberty, and I am looking for a set of new rubber. My question is can I fit 255/60/17 on?

I currently have 235/65/17 and this plus size would keep the speedo within spec. My only concern would be rubbing...

Does anyone have experience on this size?

Thanks for your Replay Rage... I looked at that thread - and I have tried to search vigorously - It seems 245/65/17 may fit - but I would go one wider at a 255, but keep the overall tire diameter almost the same as stock... My worry would be fender liner or suspension component rubbing. Would love to hear someone chime in that has this size, or has tried them!

The 255/60-17 will not fit.

Thanks for your answer Thunderbird - does it rub the fenderwell. or suspension? If I got wheels with a slightly different offset, would it clear?

fenderwell and the swaybar. Not really, because then you'd rub on the fenderwell MORE.
