I thought 30000 miles would be a good start to begin my journal.
I got my jeep november 2003, it is the first batch of 04, as soon as they came out, so it is early 04, first thing I did was get a set of catch-all mats, and cargo liner.. for some reason cargo liner did not fit! those guys at the online store were fine with me returning it, although they said it should fit, but it was too big.. next thing was mopar wind deflectors and later mopar wheel locks.
about 6 months after I got my jeep I bought mopar lens guards, those plastic ones, they look great, I mean GREAT but they don't hold well, those 3Ms are not sticky. One got loose, so I got J-B Weld and stuck them on, later it fell during car wash, and I had terrible JB Weld stain on my paint + lens..
So what I did was I bought AVS and covered them up. I got AVS online, and put them on, it doesn't match black paint %100 but looks OK.
I removed the advertisement off my spare cover using graffiti remover spray, and it was all black with small JEEP logo to the side. While doing that I damaged my rim's clad on spare, had tiny spots..
I had my first flat later on, and removed and tucked the cover away, since then I am coverless.
later I got clear turn signals and installed them, finally based on a suggestion of my fello jeeper here on the site, I got door edge guards and billet'ed up my front end.
Yesterday, during our trip to bear mountain I hit 29999 and by the time i started looking for my camera it hit 30000.
There.
