Lesson from this? Take your time. Know your terrain and make a plan. And have more than 1 friend haha

That was intense! Just one reason why I like going with more than one other person!

If the cameraman mist it the first time how did we see him do the first crossing. Slow is fast and fast is well you seen. Slow down and do it right the first time, he could have gotten hurt in that roll thank God he didn't. There is no short cuts for safety.

They were lucky. At least no one was hurt and they didn't end up with a truck full of fish.

I almost believe that this was scripted somewhat.

I think it was, except for maybe the tipping over part. They had a film crew out there and I saw an ATV in the background on a couple shots, so there were at least a few other people around. Had they really been in desperate straits I think they'd have dropped the cameras and pitched in. Still a cool video, though. :)

Yeah, couldn't imagine a cameraman saying, "sorry fellas, pitching in is above my pay grade, so sorry to see it sink". Well, he could say that, but probably wouldn't get out of there alive!

I'd say not necessarily scripted...but maybe heavily dramatized.
I'm sure the narration was done later. A lot of the drama and impending doom that comes across in the video is due to what you're told, and not necessarily what you see. Even so, that deep in the mud with the water rising is taking a chance, even if they went out there that day saying to themselves "Hey, what if we got seriously stuck and made it look like Titanic II out there...?"

Union rules, probably. :Nonono:
