4x4 shifting issue

That would be the 231 or command track. Does the 4x4 shifter have a full time and part time on the handle or just the part time?

Okay! I got the bushing in place. 4WD is working. I dropped the bushing once and it appeared to have completely vanished. I found in on top of the cross member. I also found the clip I dropped the other day on it.

Yep that's what my 05 took. I bought two and carried the extra in the glove box.

This is for 05 and on Jeeps with the 242 as far as I know...

When I'm in 4 high the light on the dash
says part time.

Mine did the same thing (and also when in 2WD the light said Part Time). Changed the transfer case switch and o ring. All is fine now...
