I turned my a/c off via the control knob, by turning it to the far left, the off position.

When I started my car the next time and turned the a/c back on, the fan would not come on.

I checked the fuse inside the car, #24 and the fuse under the hood, they both appear to be good.

Is there something else obvious I can try.

Thanks,

JWB

Hmm, did you check the relay under the hood? There is one for High speed and low. Idk if they are the same relay, but if they are you could swap them out and see if the other speed works. I may be wrong, but I believe the A/C turns the fan to High speed.

I saw one relay in fuse case under the hood, it was interchangeable with the radiator fan, after swapping the radiator fan continued to run so I don't think that was it....

I had a similar thing when I had my 02 sebring convertible- one day i turned the air on, and the fan would only blow on high, while not at all on the other settings. I took it in and they said it was a blown transistor inside the hvac unit that had to be replaced.

I had a similar problem about 2 weeks ago, the blower fan swith only worked on 3 and 4...the blower fan reisistor was gone. It is about $17 from the dealer, easy to do yourself. Took about 15 mins; it is located behind the glove box.
