Just put my JBA Adjust-a-Struts on the front end (finally at 22" - and BTW what an awesome ride on and off road)
So I wanted to do a simple change on the nose that would look like it may have been stock.
I think with the lift and bringin' up the nose it adds a little something.
Love it or hate it it works for me.
Careful tape off, sanded with 1000 wet/dry paper, cleaned thoroughly with degreaser. 3 coats of silver and 2 coats of clear.

Here's what it looks like now:

I used a silver paint that is real close to the Moab silver wheels on it.

That's what I'm concerned about. It is hard to get paint to hold on to the plastic compound used to fabricate these bumpers. That's why I actually sanded the painted area rather than just cleaning and painting.
Time will tell.

I cut the bottom of my bumper off... broke it most of the way off trying to get through deep water with 6" thick chunks of ice up to 3 foot long pushing on the bottom of the bumper

I've always loved that look on the Jeeps. I thought the KJ should have came that way.

I would do that to mine as well, but my whole Jeep is already silver.:freak3:
