I'm not sure I understand your post, hard to read with a lack of punctuation.

You have no instrument pannel, yet the warning lights flicker on their own? Do you have anything else like your Horn, overhead lights, radio, or any other electrical components? How many miles are on your KJ?

If it's what I think it is, it's probably the BCM (body control module)....controls most of your electronics and creature comforts. Thats why i asked if he had things such as a radio and overhead lights and a horn....they also tend to go out when the BCM goes wacko...and yes there's a TSB out for it....I know i've seen it somewhere.

I'm no expert, but i'd have to agree it sounds like the BCM took a long vacation to no-workyville. :-({|=

Then again, we cant be sure, since a lack of proper information exists. ](*,)

The horn, radio and interior lights all work just find. Thus I would have to dismiss the BCM. I have been driving like this for over a year now and have read horror story related to this problem. How other have tried to solve this problem though there dealer. So they have just replaced the dash only to discover that this wasn't the problem. ($500) Yes there only seem to be a TSB on this problem however that would include a doom light problem of which I don't have. I think there might been a common ground that is bad it's common within instrument gauge, dash lights and warning light. How much more information do you need?? This problem started when my mileage reached 110,000 I think I have 150,000 on it now. Other then a drive-shaft problem last year this car have been for the most part free of problems. However this problem will start happening in other Jeep liberty's has time goes on!

Sorry to hear about that. From what you describe a grounding strap sounds like the guilty party.
Was you Liberty new or used when you bought?

Why do you say it will happen to other libbys? Ive been on many different forums for over 2 years, and this is the first Ive heard. Ive heard of the speedo not working, but nothing like your saying, or trying to say.

You can't guarantee that a problem will start happening with other Libertys. Each one is different. They may all look the same, but heck, even some are taller than others... and they all come from the same factory!

The TSB covers a broad series of problems, it doesn't mean that ALL of those problems have to occur for the BCM to be the culprit.

So, it still may be the BCM.

Let me first state that I bought this Liberty when it was new right off the show room floor. And other then this problem it hasn't given me much to complain about and for having over 140,000 mile and still going strong I think thats a good track record. My belief that it was do in part on where it was built and how it was built (all via robots) That being said and not very many owner having this amount of mileage on there Liberty you might be seeing more of this in the future. I'm not the only one, check out edmonds.com and you'll see 3 or 4 other with the same problem. I would like to thank all for there advice I'll take all of it into consideration. It looks like back to the books to try to find the solution....
