About to install Aires 1047 grill guard

But before I do,I am still a little unclear on what goes wear.
The instructions say;
1.Factory tow hooks must be removed(if equipped)to install the front bar assembly
2.Start with the passenger side.Look through the opening in the bumper and locate the holes in the bottom of the steel bumper section.

I don't have tow hooks

Do I need to do any cutting?

So the 2 smaller holes?

the nut plate....

..connects to the mounting bracket?

And the top support bracket connects to the existing bolt under the hood...?

That cut out in the plastic bumper you have pictures of is where the tow hooks would be, I'm assuming you cut that out, but can't be sure as I'm not familiar with the grillggrill you've purchased

From the photos provided it appears that it has been in a frontal hit and someone in their back yard got it good enough to slap on a new bumper etc

Have seen similar before , on one went to install a ARB bumper and the front looked like swiss cheese there were so many holes LOL, that install went from " should only take this much time " to what the heck, hours later finally finishing, actually felt sorry for the guy

I looked under my neighbors KJ and compared it to mine.
Going to need some straightening out for sure,but doesn't look any where near impossible to fix.
Going to have it worked on later this week.
