Good day all,

189633.0 Km/117832.48 miles...
Thats 9333 Km/ 5799.257.34 miles later!
With the Frankenlift/clevis lift installed {Including 2 rear ISO's per side in the rear.
These are the stats.
Drivers side front 23.5 inches
Drivers side rear 23.5 inches
Passengers front 22.5 inches
Passengers rear 22.5 inches

Thats 5.5 inches deferents!
After machining 3/8 {0.375 inch = 9.525 millimeter*} off of the inner CV Joints, with NO complaints(Yet) from the inner CV Joints.
The ride is very smooth and ultra firm. I feel like I'm driving a new vehicle!
Instead of hitting an undulation in the road surface or one off road like I did with the Factory suspension, now our KJ just "Trucks" over it without a hick-up or the feel of the front coil springs "Stacking"
This Frankenlift is F cking awesome!

My skids are still on back order for some reason, so that will be later to come!

Cheers
Ry'

*OK, so I machined ad add "C" hair or two... I have an extra 4 sets of inner CV Joints to play with!
So If I Ef a pair up... OH WELL!

The only thing that has Jen concerned is the noise of the front coil springs "Breaking in"!
A little bit of groaning never hurt a virgin... 4X4 vehicle one bit!

Cheers
Ry'

Interesting I am within 1/8 inch or so of you with 97000 on my lift after the last go around, did replace the rear springs recently though which made a huge difference towed too many trailers and haul too much junk in the back

This looks fun....

2003 Renegade:
Grey, Manual trans, 255/70r16 w/16x8's
73,000 miles

21" in the front
20" in the rear, both side are exactly the same and on the button.

Here's the kicker; I dont know what kind of lift it has nor any other modification done! I just bought it about 3,000 miles ago and it seems to have some suspension problems, ha:Dha:Dha:confused:ha:(ha:(......actually it's not funny!

mine made more of a real low hum/ rumbling sound, not metal to metal ran it like that for 2 weeks, dropped it 1/2 inch and it went away so I know it wasn't tires etc. You could almost feel it more than actually hear it. If going for JBAs make sure you go with the 4.5s gives you a little more than the 3.5s I think

I have not had any problems with our KJ yet regarding CV joints...
But I have plenty of experience with my Mini which is also front wheel drive, inner and outer CV jointes and lifted with 9 inches of ground clearance!
Sounds like you might want to inspect your wheel bearings!
