I wouldnt see any use in buying a new one. Wash it out with some Dawn DirectFoam and be done with it.

They should have a cross-reference book at the auto parts store or some mini computer. If not, someone should be able to look it up for you. All air filters are the same for the KJ, KA and KK, no matter the engine.Yeah wash it out, I think it will be just clean. Or even better fish your couch and cut a piece out, cover it back with its lining.... this will work until your wife or mom finds out, and sticks your head in that hallow space..
Wix? OK, will look for a good one. Any size etc, I should look for or all of them for DC same?

so does the dealership have the replacement piece? if so anyone bought one.. and price of one?
As was already said, if you're going to buy a permanent filter as a replacement, buy a Wix. You won't find them in any store, except for the parts they make for NAPA, so look around online for a specialty shop. K&N...I just hate. Flame away, K&N is notorious for "increased airflow" via larger holes that allow too much grime through. I would even use a Fram Airhog before K&N, they're a lot cheaper if you hit the price right. Before I put a CAI in the Charger I had two Fram Airhogs that I alternated through while one was being cleaned. Bought them for $15 total (that's for 2)after sale and rebates. Standard price on them in the store was in the $45 range, each.Any one of these good?
