I just has an alingment done on my 03 liberty sport. It still pulls slightly to the left. The shop said that it was in specs and if he adjusted anything more I would have bad tire wear. I asked if anything was broken or worn out and needed to be replaced but he said it all looks good. I replaced the tires I had on with new ones the night before the alignment because they were cupped. Any idea why he can't get it aligned better? I think the suspension is a little worn out as I think it has sagged a little. Any imput would be great. Thank you.

If the alignment is spot on, might want to look at the brakes. Haynes manual mentions that if you've made sure the tires are in good condition and inflated properly, and the front end alignment is correct, but the vehicle still wants to pull to one side, especialy during braking, then there are a number of things to check out on the brakes.

As far as the cupping of the tires, possible cause listed are - underinflation and/or out of balance condition of wheel and/or tire, and bent or damaged wheel - loose or worn steering tie rod or steering idler arm - loose damaged or worn front suspension parts.

Hi,

I have a similar issue with my '02 Ltd but it doesn't pull under braking. I have ordered all lower A arm bushes as I suspect they are more worn than they look. My allignment is spot on and I get a little 'tracking' on raised ridges of roading etc so I'm picking a soft bush or two.
My KJ has 94000km on it so it could be due a few bushes - especially with our earthquake battered roads!!!:sad72:
