Am I getting the right EVIC parts for my 2003 KJ ???

Hi guys, I just bought a EVIC from an forum. The part code is:

1) 2002 56042749AE EVIC Instant MPG +homelink
2) Temperature sensor #56042395

Am I getting the right EVIC parts for my 2003 KJ ? Thanks in advance~~

Well, you need the pigtail, and I assume you knew that and are including it in the EVIC. But yes, that is the ambient temp sensor from the 02 and 03, not sure about other years, especially since mine came with it already, and there is no reason for me to go check on them.

Ummmmm, sounds like you are dealing with those guys over at Treps.net or whatever it is called. I really don't think that is the pigtail so much as it is the 4 wires cut to be run down the A-Pillar. Also consider that they are cutting them to fit an Intrepid which may cause your wires to be too short. You better double check that it is including a pigtail on the end of it to plug into the EVIC (EVIC connector) as well as the length. For the Liberty you need a minimum of 8 feet to get across the headliner, down the A-Pillar and into the data connector. More depending on how roundabout you run your wires to conceal them. Coming through the Driver's side fuse panel and behind the steering wheel (most direct route) takes around 8 feet to be comfortable.
