Hey All

Shopping for a set of wheels/tires for weekend goofing off and I'm looking for a decent steel 15" wheel to run on my '05 Renegade. The Jeep already has a Rusty's 3" spring/shock lift. I figure I can run a 33x10.5 on a 15" rim without too many problems. Already running LT265/75R16s, they rub a little at full lock. Anyhow, any suggestions on wheel brand and backspacing?

A 33" tire wouldn't be the best for the D30A front diff....

Cool, how about wheels. Any specific brand, style. backspacing?

I run 31x10.5's on a Cragar Soft8's...15x8 with 4" back spacing. I get lots of rub on front at full lock and rear(at full stuff). Lots of trimming up front with plastics will be needed. I think I would go with a 4.5" backspace.

Cragar's are only $39.95 US at Summit Racing

Thanks for the info guys. That's exactly what I was looking for. As for the rubbing Jeepetorp, a sawzall can easily get rid of some of the excess plastic. I've done it and only get rub at full lock, or when the suspension is compressed a great deal. I'm heading to Imperial Valley, California for a month. I'll buy the wheels when I get there. They are way less expensive there than at home in northern Canada. Not the wheels are expensice, it's the shipping that kills!!! Now, will Summit deliver to a hotel??? Hmmmmmm.

Thanks again.

Hey, the Soft 8s look cool, but so do the V-5s, dunno which to go with.

I am running Cragar Black D's 15x7 with 4" BS wrapped in 32x11.50x15 BFG All Terrains. Have a Daystar 2.5" lift plus 3/8" top spacer plate plus 3/8" clevis lift and no rubbing after fender liner and bumper trimming.
