I ran 245/75 MTR's they are LR E
and they rode like ****
then we switched to the 255/70 yokohama AT and they rode much smoother
keep in mind that even a "P" tire is rated to carry right at 2,000# per tire
X 4 tires that is close to 8,000# in tire cap and most KJ are right at 4200# or so
some argue that having the 10 ply tire is better off road
I have C load or 6 ply's on my TJ and get no more flats than any one else
even running CHEEP MT's I only got 1 flat and that same spot was eating tires all day
until some one got out a mall and broke off the sharp rock edge
