I have used it in my KJ, Ranger and Subaru. No problems. I'm currently using whatever is on sale at WalleyWorld. Usually their brand.

Always felt it didn't matter much what I use since I do a 3-4k OCI.

The platinum Penzoil appears to be very good oil and very clear in color. Meets or exceed GF5 & Dexos ratings. I wonder if this is the new GF6? (LOL)
I can not believe the prices on full synthetic here. $ 50 -65 $ for 5 lit jug tax in.
I see sale prices in the US for half that. The Mobil1 extended performance 5L jug is not even on shelf at WallMArt either...the other store I was buying it from stopped carrying it, as customers were buying the cheaper Mobil1, refusing to buy the more expensive full synthetic oil!
Dang..liquid hard to find gold here...

My brother runs that in his WRX with a Subaru filter only. Good results from it. Personally I just use blended high mileage stuff. Usually the same cost or cheaper than regular oil.

i ran it last oil change after reading enough bob is oil guy forums. Popular opinion after many have spent money on oil analysis is that either this or mobil 1 seems to be the best options.

Since i don't do extended oil changes; as long as the pour point is low enough for the cold i see 6 months a year. I'd be good with either.

Moblil 1 seems to be in stock at Canadian tire and on sale frequently enough its probably what i'll use for rest of the vehicles life.

Can Tire only sells the regular Mobil one not the extended performance which is the full synthetic flavor.
