Watch these videos to see how not to drive in the winter.

Jeep Grand Cherokee crashes into van

Cars crash and pile up on icy road in Russia.

Comical - how not to recover a car out of a snow bank

And finally, bumper cars on ice

Whatever you do while driving on ice make sure you drive faster, don't slow down and anticipate anything, slam on the breaks at the last second, and you too can end up on the youtube crash exhibits.

The ONLY time I've ever lost control on ice was when I decided to drive my mom's truck. Her drum brakes locked up and I ended up doing a 360 and ended up on the curb, about a block away from home. I didn't even make it off my street. I babied it home and hopped in the Jeep.

Idk whats going on in that last one. The car in the beginning seems to be holding it to the floor even though they are hitting stuff.

Why do people feel the need to get into fights on you-tube? They see snow and wrecks then just bust out saying everyone *****.

And its a cherokee, not a Grand Cherokee.

Yeah, snow is great. It can be fun to drive in too, especially when you're darn near the only person out on the road. Braking distances aren't too bad either.

Once in a blue moon we have had a real winter here. One year it snowed, then partially melted. Re-froze then had a fresh dump of super dry snow.
Everybody had major problems, awesome collisions. That dump pretty much shut the city down that night and the next day!
I didn't have one problem with traction or un-wanted drama!
I stayed home!
It's not that I can't drive, it's just that all the other drivers are ********!

Oh, jeepjeepster. In that first vid where you said that it wasn't a Grand Cherokee, but just a Cherokee?
There are a few of those cruising around here and they are badged as "Grand Cherokee's"
White with gold pin striping, black with gold pin striping, red with gold pin striping. And they had gold coloured honey comb styled aluminum wheels.

Cheers

We just had our first bit of snow today. People are still driving too fast as usual. In some places its too slippery and you can't stop very easily. I've already seen one accident on the way home from work. Also, 4wd helps. Oh well, another 6 months till spring melt.

I was traveling from Calgary to Drumheller to Edmonton on the day of the snow (well after it stopped and was later in the day) and I did fine with my stock tires.

In that last video it looked like they were doing it on purpose. If not and it was that slippery, then quit while you are ahead and just pull over somewhere safe. -Captain Common Sense :D

I am trying to get ready for winter. It was so cold here today. Only got up to 92 F. I think I will just have to endure it!
