Apologies if it was mentioned, but isn't the word on the street with the hep cats that it's wise to do a seafoam treatment right before doing a plug change, because the act of doing the treatment fouls the plugs?

How was the spark plug change?
That's what I have planned for next month along with a synthetic engine oil change and filter.
If you've never done it before it is best to change the plugs afterwords, the plugs will be toast.Apologies if it was mentioned, but isn't the word on the street with the hep cats that it's wise to do a seafoam treatment right before doing a plug change, because the act of doing the treatment fouls the plugs?
If you do this service once a year the carbon build up is not a severe so you can get away with not changing the plugs.Do not put SeaFoam or any other type of cleaner, even in the gas tank, more then twice a year as it will kill the cats fast.I have done it 4 times in the last few years, and I did get a missfire one of those times. Cleared the code, all is well.
